About Me

I am a mother of two beautiful children, a wife, a teacher and an advocate for my son who has special needs.  I have travelled the world, cared for others children who have disabilities, met some amazing, strong people along the way and have had the most wonderful experiences that have opened my eyes WIDE.
I am passionate about teaching, and although I have tried a few different roles in my life, my heart always returns to teaching / education.
I took time off to be a 'stay at home mum' and it has only been the last couple of years that I have felt ready to get back into the classroom on a casual basis. Although my teaching ceased for a number of years, I have gained so much more in becoming a mother and with it the journey that I didn't see coming with my son.  I have learned a substantial amount of information regarding special needs, disabilities, paediatricians, neurologists, sensory disorders, seizures and developmental delay, and continue learning more every day.
I love a good adventure. I love learning. I love teaching.
